Quad 1:  Sept. 17 - Nov. 17 + Exams Nov. 18,19

Quad 2:  Nov. 23 - Feb. 2 + Exams Feb. 3, 4

Quad 3:  Feb. 8 - April 20 + Exams April 21, 22

Quad 4:  April 23 - June 23 + Exams June 24, 25, 28

Entering From or Returning to In-Person Learning

We recognize that parents/guardians and/or students may want to switch between in-person learning and Virtual School. It is important to note that, for health and safety reasons, and because of the impact switching would have on staffing, physical distancing and space allocation, it will not be possible to immediately transition between the two models. As a result, an opportunity to enter the Virtual School or to return to in-person learning will be provided at the end of each quadmester as follows: 

Deadline to Request Switch Date Switch is Effective

Before October 15, 2020 @ 4pm Quad 2 start - November 23, 2020

Before January 5, 2021 @ 4pm Quad 3 start - February 8, 2021

Before March 23, 2021 @ 4pm Quad 4 start - April 23, 2021

Timetable Changes

Due to the already-shortened Quad 1, the only timetable changes being considered for Quad 1 are for the following scenarios :

-          Grade 9s, 10s, and 11s with only 1 class in Quad 1

-          In a class without the prerequisite (e.g. in MPM2D1 but failed MPM1D1 last year)

-          In a class that you already have the credit for (e.g. passed ENG1D1 in summer school and in ENG1D1 again)

-          For Grade 12s, if your post-secondary plans have changed and you need to drop a class this quad please contact us.  If you need new prerequisite courses for your post-secondary program, please e-mail us beginning September 28 for changes to Quads 2, 3, and 4 classes.

Please contact us beginning the week of September 28 for timetable changes for  Quads 2, 3, and 4.

HOW TO READ YOUR TIMETABLE

Thursday September 17 is a Day 1

Friday September 18 is a Day 2

Monday September 21 is a Day 3

Tuesday September 22 is a Day 4

 

Period 1 (8:45-12:30) class is the in-school (you will have 2 of these between Days 1 and 4)

Period 1a (8:46-12:31) is the asynchronous class in the morning when you are not in-school.

Period 2 (14:00-15:15) is the synchronous class in the afternoon

 

Please check your student.tdsb.on.ca e-mail for messages from your teachers informing you about the online classroom (either Brightspace or Google Classroom)

 

 

WHEN YOU COME TO SCHOOL

-          We will have two entrances open – the main front doors and the accessible door at the back facing the field.  Students can use either entrance for entry.
