Reach Ahead to Kinesiology at University of Toronto

One of Wexford’s Grade 11 students, Taliyah W., was one of 25 Black youth from across the GTA who were given the opportunity to attend the Reach Ahead to Kinesiology program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education. In addition to interactive workshops and activities, Taliyah met with staff, faculty, and student mentors in the Bachelor of Kinesiology program. They also got to experience living in a residence dorm as part of a new overnight component. The time spent over March Break was an eye-opening experience for Taliyah as she is now exploring Kinesiology programs as a post-secondary destination. Way to represent Wexford, Taliyah!
