Some of Wexford’s Visual & Media Art students took their talents on the road to OCAD University recently for the MARTK’D Sneaker Design Tournament.

MARTK’D is a community movement that creates a unique platform and uses art and sneakers as an engagement tool to connect and empower communities and cultures. The MARTK’D team uses contemporary culture to develop and host a wide range of events, programs, and initiatives that celebrate the intersection between art and sneaker culture.

Ridaa, Emily, Mimi, Grace, and Malik represented Wexford admirably at the event. We made it through in the finals and Malik will represent us in Ottawa.
