PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition)

PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) is a process whereby active TDSB day school or Continuing Education students may obtain credits toward their OSSD for knowledge and skills that they have acquired outside of the classroom. Students' prior learning is assessed and evaluated to determine whether they have met the provincial curriculum expectations as outlined in specific ministry curriculum policy documents.

PLEASE NOTE: Students who are interested in challenging a credit through PLAR that PARENT(S) / GUARDIAN(S) AND STUDENT ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE INFORMATION SESSION:
