Our NBE3U1 (English: Contemporary Aboriginal Voices, Grade 11, University Preparation) students read the Land Acknowledgement this morning, followed by an explanation of the first annual National Day of Truth and Reconciliation as well as the 8th Annual Orange Shirt Day. The NBE3U1 class put up a display at the front of the auditorium. The quilt was made by our Grade 11 FSF3U1 French students in collaboration with a Métis artist and an Indigenous seamstress.
