Wexford Performing Arts students had a unique hands-on workshop with Canadian opera star and Governor General Award Recipient Measha Brueggergosman-Lee on the morning of May 24. Our senior Music Theatre students as well as the Grade 9 Performance Vocal students were given acting, movement, as well as vocal directions that enhanced their stage presence and projection. Following the workshop, the students were treated with a song from Ms. Brueggergosman-Lee and her guitarist husband Stephen James Lee, with time at the end for questions from our students about life as a performing artist.
Thank you to Ms. Brueggergosman-Lee, Mr. Lee, and Ivan Lo from Opera Atelier for making this educational opportunity possible for our Wexford students!
