I do not live in the area but I want to go to Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts.  Can I apply under Optional Attendance?

Students residing in the City of Toronto and who successfully interview/audition into the Arts Focus programs are eligible to attend Wexford CSA under Optional Attendance for a specialized program.

For the 2020 - 2021 school year, Wexford CSA is closed to regular program students under Optional Attendance.

Can I apply to both the Visual & Media Arts and the Performing Arts programs?

Yes.  Please note that you must apply to each program separately online.

What courses do students take every year?

Grade 9: English, Math, Science, Geography, French, Health and Physical Education, and 2 electives

Grade 10: English, Math, Science, History, Civics & Citizenship and Career Studies, and 3 electives

Grade 11: English, Math, and 6 electives

Grade 12: English and 7 electives

What sports teams can I join at Wexford?

Fall Season: Girls and Boys Rugby 7s, Girls Basketball, Boys Volleyball, Girls and Boys Golf, Girls Field Hockey, Co-ed Cross Country

Winter Season: Boys and Girls Indoor Soccer, Boys Basketball, Girls Volleyball, Co-ed Swimming, Co-ed Badminton, Boys and Girls Ice Hockey

Spring Season: Boys Baseball, Girls Slo-Pitch, Girls Lacrosse, Boys and Girls Rugby 15s, Co-ed Track and Field, Girls Flag Football, Co-ed Ultimate Frisbee, Co-ed Volleyball, Beach Volleyball

What clubs or councils are at Wexford?

If I am accepted under Optional Attendance into one of the Arts Focus programs, can I get bussing or TTC tickets to go to Wexford CSA?

Transportation, including bussing and distribution of TTC tickets, is not provided under Optional Attendance into the Arts Focus programs.

I am an international student. Can I attend Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts?

Wexford CSA is not a TDSB school designated for international students.  To attend a TDSB school as an international student, please visit www.studytoronto.ca.
